At the rate I am forgetting simple little things, I might as well write everything I can before I lose it all. Funny but as you grow older, you tend to remember things that you thought you have forgotten. The stupid and humiliating things ... they bring in smiles. The happy ones ... bring in some teary eyes. Memories of childhood tops, every kindness you received, and the people that made my childhood a memorable one, I'd like to remember to remember and write things about them.
My grandma was born in 1901, while my grandfather in 1910, but through Mom, their goodness lived beyond 2012 when my mother passed away. I hope to live at least 10 years more, enough to write volumes about how lucky my life turned out to be. I could honestly say that life had been good to me and even if I have the power to change something in my past... I wouldn't touch a thing. I may not have lived according to our family's expectations, unable to provide a better life to my family, but I am sure that what I will leave behind will be remembered up to my third generation. I will be remembered for the love that I have shared with my kids and maybe be passed on to my future grandchildren. That's 3 centuries - me from the 20th, while my kids lived through the 21st and hopefully some of my grandkids will reach the 22nd century. How's that for 3 centuries of life blood ?

Luck didn't play much in my job and career, business went through the usual ups and downs, but family life have always been fine, filled with love and laughter and some other things in between that only two happily married guys could connect to. Our living proof are the happy kids we sired. Maybe not spoiled with the luxuries in life but spoiled by care and honest love. Its a family kind of thing that could not be described, and can only be defined by the closeness and fondness of sharing whatever we could have our hands on ... always a smile even when things go wrong.
This blog's will be more of a diary. Things about the family, life, and whatsoever that comes to mind. The thousand things that gave color and luster to my years, to my days, ...
