THE WAY TO HAPPINESS

If  you're looking for happiness, just follow this advice

You don't need to be wealthy, you don't need to be wise
Like things that are lost, stop looking, it can easily be found
Live your days, do good, sooner or later it will come around

Just be nice to everybody, and to everyone that you meet
They may not reciprocate but their smiles are real sweet
Every morning say a little prayer, say these words to mean,
God I place my life unto thy hands, thy will be done, Amen

Life isn't fair but you have to learn to live with that ...
Love what you have, for you can't have all that you want
Life is too short to be angry, or to spend hating someone ...
Forget what's been done, and let bygones be bygones

Life may be a mess but it doesn't mean that you're not blessed
There's still a long way to go, be cool, life's not to be assessed
Play the kind of music you like, that would liven up your mood
Read a book , some inspiring quotes,  that makes you feel good

Smile and share some funny jokes, fill your days with laughter
It may not add years to your life but surely life would be better
Don't tell your problems to other people, for 9 of 10 don't listen
That one would pretend to care but glad he doesn't  have them

Love your family and your friends, keep them close to your heart
Plant seeds of goodwill, flower and bear fruit before you depart
That's how you build a legacy, its never late, today is a good start
Have a life, follow your heart, listen to music, relive the good part

Forget about competition, for success is but a dream, an illusion
Really its good to follow your vision just don't go beyond reason
To have a good ride, always  keep your loved ones by your side
What's the use of fame and glory if  they will just be left behind

Never think you're too smart, everyone  know things you do not
You may be an engineer but a mason can build a wall, you can not
You may know about engines but only a mechanic can make it start
Cardiologist ? but only a woman can make your heart beat rat-tatat

Start believing in forever if you want your love to last a lifetime
Its not a mind game, use your heart, for being crazy is not a crime
Everyone will have a someone, its a given, wait... for love is blind
Soul's do the searching, God do the blessing, and its a tie that binds

Stupid is, stupid does ... that was how Forrest Gump fell in love
To most people he's plain stupid, a fool, a mere laughing stock
Believe me,  I know nothing better than the love he has for Jenny
It was a love that knew no bounds, nothing mattered, for eternity

We think we are  good when other people approve of what we do
We pretend, keep up with the Joneses, say things that are not true
We cannot live another life for them, to impress, or just to please
We live for our self, for God, for those we love, no more, no less

When in trouble, having problems, or in need of helping hands
The help you need is there, just look first at the end of your arms
Use your experience, use your head in matters that need thinking
But in love, follow your heart, for love is different, its everything

Some wise men say that you should always look before you leap
Grand things requires analysis, planning, and lots to keep up with
But if people were too careful, afraid to take risks, play by the rule
Then there would be no Ali, Michael Jordan or Sylvester Stallone

Many would disagree, but its alright, for we're all equal and free
Everything is but a matter of destiny... with God holding the key
Some were made to play the game, others merely to watch and see
Those who cannot do - teach ... while others just agree to disagree

We usually worry about the things we feel, hear and see, destiny
When things go wrong, we point fingers or say don't blame me!
But things cannot always be perfect, sometimes we have to lose
Learn from our mistakes, move on, and forget about all the "boos"

Always bear in mind, life is short, all of us live in a borrowed time
Think independently, love yourself, and have a taste of a little wine
For once you have conquered your self, love - it is so easy to give
Live, laugh, love, learn, for you cannot give what you do not have
